Chosing coffee via a colour palette
An Austrian writer called Friedrich Torbergs tells the anecdote that in former times the waiter in the coffee house handed a colour palette to the customer, on which the various intensities of coffee were resembled by colours, ranging from black to milky white (source: Wikipedia).
Coffee repels wasps
Add four spoonfulls of fresh coffee grounds to a flat bowl, light a match and place it in the coffee. This keeps glowing for about two hours, smelling of freshly brewed coffee. The smoke will keep the wasps away – except if one of them adores coffee as much as we do :-)
